‘TR20’ and ‘TR40’ trademarked by Mahindra

Symbol1PickupTrucks.com just reported that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has given their approval to Mahindra’s intent to use and claim ownership of the names TR20 and TR40 for use in commerce.

We’re slowly inching towards the already delayed US debut of the Mahindra trucks. We’re hoping their crash, durability and emission testing goes well so that they can have a smooth ride to the much awaited launch of the Mahindra midsize trucks in February.

  1. It seems like Mahindra will have had plenty of time to build a TR30 pick-up. This extended cab model will definitely be the most popular in my region. I am also wondering if the U.S. manager is drawing a large salary. If this is so, Imagine how the expected list price will be inflated.
