News is spreading today that Mahindra is working on a 2nd gen pickup truck. It’s been several years since Mahindra dedicated to launching their TR20 and TR40 model pickup trucks in the United States. We still don’t have any pickup trucks, but according to Mahindra Planet, we do have word of a next generation pickup truck with over a 1 ton capacity.
Many are growing weary that an Indian based diesel pickup will ever reach the States. In any case, it’s good to know that they are making our imaginary pickup bigger and better.
As the news are already spreading of a 2nd generation pickup truck going to be released by Mahindra, I can just say its going to be getting bigger and better for all the quality truck buyers whether in the US and the outside nations.
The overall feeling among people positive about Mahindra cars and trucks, and most are confident that Mahindra will get a great success…Already achieved a success in India now waiting to get same in US.
Only make it better not bigger. My Dad’s 2001 Silverado is so big it won’t fit in the driveway. Just think the 2011′s our even bigger. Thanks Guy’s Welcome to the USA. Our guy’s won’t do this our listen to there customers. That’s why you are number 1 in the World.
Scorpio is a great example of the strength of Mahindra autos, and pickup would be a good show of this strength.

Meh I doubt they can withstand rigors of the average moronic driver even if they do make it to the U.S.A.
Been waiting too long and the Second Coming of Christ has been predicted too. So which shall arrive first?
Why work on a 2nd generation without the first being released? Why produce a 2nd generation if the first hasn’t been a proven success? We already have big diesels in the US – Ford, Chevy, Dodge – why compete directly. The smaller diesel trucks are more appealing to me, and that’s what a lot of people have been waiting for. Mahindra would own the market of small diesels. I drive a Toyota Tacoma, but would love a small diesel.
Great Pick Up! I have a Mahindra T20 generation One: it is very reliable. I keep it always bright using Speedy Wash machines (Bitimec, http://www.bitimec.it). Machines user friendly, affordable, fast and ecological. I suggest you!
I nominate Harold Camping (the end of the world guy) for official spokesperson for the Mahindra diesel pickup. Then we’d know how to interpret his pronouncements in both pickup arrivals and raptures.
